MS/HS Bulletin February 15

 Data Match sales will continue through the week during lunch.  Cost is $1.

Seniors--there will be a mandatory meeting regarding senior privileges on Thursday, February 16th at 9:15 in the library conference room.  Please make arrangements so that you are at the meeting.  If you will be absent, you must meet with me before.  Remember, early privileges are set to begin on February 24th.  If you have any unexcused absences or time spent in ISS you will not receive privileges on the 24th.  In addition, you must have paid for your senior shirts and have all of your senior pictures submitted before you will have privileges.  If you have questions about any of this, let me know.  Thanks!  Dr. Schwan
 
National FCCLA Week is Feb. 13-17, our local chapter will be celebrating by holding several events this week.
Mon-Fri - Lollipop Sales after school in the FACS room - you can pay and take them
Tuesday- Friday - Lollipop Sales at lunch - send them to a friend with delivery at the end of the day on Friday!
Mon-Fri - Pennies for Patients Challenge - jars located in the office
Wednesday, February 15 - Mr. Sweetheart Day

Saturday, February 18 is the 6^th Annual – Lee Schlagel Memorial Basketball Tournament at the Clark High School.  Groton boys’ will be one of the teams playing.  There will be a lunch starting at 11:00 and a silent auction and raffle items.
Quarve Quackers 6^th Annual Relay for Life Pie Auction on Saturday, February 18 at Todd’s Tavern in Amherst.  Supper at 5:00 p.m.   Pie auction at 7:00 p.m.  All proceeds to to tMarshall County Relay for Life.
Summer registration for dual credit is now open.  Applications are on the counter in the office.  Please see Dr. Schwan for questions.
 
 Grades 11 ACT:  Registration for the April 8 test is due online by March 3, 2017 .  Register at www.actstudent.org   and pay with a credit card.  You will test in Aberdeen or Groton but be sure to list Groton as your home school.  Remember you must upload a photo to register and then print the admission ticket.  Fee waivers are available – stop by the GO.  Other test dates are: June, Sept. Oct. and Dec.   Mrs. Sternhagen will be in the classroom next Tuesday to answer any questions. 
 
Grade 12:  Financial Aid Information Night (FAIN) folders were passed out to all the students.  The deadline is coming up - please fill out and submit your FAFSA soon using your 2015 tax information.  Deadline is March 1
