MS/HS Bulletin February 19, 2014

Please read the following e-mail I received from a teacher at Roncalli about your behavior at the game on Monday.  I am so very proud of you.  Thank you for being you, Mrs. Schwan.

"Last night after a well-played emotional basketball game, I witnessed a very class act that I need to bring to your attention.  While our students were kneeling to say the prayer and the gym was quieting down, one of the young ladies in the front row of your student section shushed a student who was speaking loudly.  She kept her finger to her lips the entire time and would turn around if someone started talking.  I tried to find her after the game to thank her, but she had slipped by me.

What a testament to that young lady and your entire student section for the respect they showed to our students.  Emotions can get the best of us in a game like that, but your students handled it with class.  So often we only emphasize the unsportsmanlike behavior, but I thought I would pass along to you the exemplary behavior of your students.
"
