Reminder Family Night is tonight for grades 6-12 students and parents, from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. in the gym.  There will be free food, DQ Sundays, Oral Interp pieces, drawings and prizes, animal judging and college representatives and more.  See you there!!

Jr. high band students should bring homework to band today.  You will be here the entire 5th period.

Congratulations to the following interpers for being finalists this weekend- Lily C Poetry; Lily C, Katie M, Laura G, Erin S, Keri P, Jenifer F Readers Theater.

MathCounts meets Tuesday morning, beginning at 7:45 a.m., in Mrs. Johnson's room #226.

Students on the ICU list, please be advised:

• If you are on the list on October 23rd you will be in school on the 24th from 8:00-3:00 (teacher in-service). 
• If you skip ICU two times in a row, you will receive an hour detention. 
• Skipping advisory to avoid ICU will not be tolerated; this will result in detention.
• Lateness is not acceptable.  Morning ICU begins at 7:30 am sharp.

State Championship Boys Soccer Shirt order forms are in the office.  All orders must be in by Friday, October 24.  Payment is due at time of ordering.

All cast and crew for the all school play “Honk!” need to meet in Mrs. Honerman’s room during advisory on Monday, October 20. Please bring a list of all conflicts you have between now and November 23 – including weekends. We will be discussing rehearsals, attendance, and the beginning of set and costume development. See you there!

Students in grades 7, 8, 9, and 12 need to use their bonus points today.   The bonus points are from Smarter Balance testing last year. 

FBLA are selling shirts.  They are due to the office on Friday, October 31.  Money is due when you turn in your order form.

Please return all over due books to the library!

Grade 9:  Please return your pathways sheets to Mrs. Sternhagen

Grade 12:  Northern has decided to do a free application week at NSU next week October 21-25.  Students  can fill the application out the online on NSU’s website at https://apply.sdbor.edu/login.cfm?inst=nsu, but do not pay for it. Once it is paid NSU cannot refund the $20. Students can also fill out this PDF application, http://www.northern.edu/admissions/Documents/application.pdf, scan it and email it to NSU. The transcript can also be emailed to NSU for evaluation.  Final transcripts will still need to mailed after graduation.   If you are interested in doing this, let Mrs. Sternhagen know and she will give your transcript to NSU on Monday. 

Grades 9-12:   October 20^th is Family Night.  From 5-7 pm many area colleges will be in the GHS gym for you to talk to.  Please come and talk to the representatives!  The following will be there:
