MS/HS Bulletin October 15

Student Bulletin

The all church dodge ball tournament will be held tonight at the Groton Area High School from 6:30-8:30 tonight.  The tournament is for grades 9-12 only.  Please enter through the weight room doors.  See you there!

Junior and Senior Snow Queen picture has been moved to Friday at 3:15 in the library.

Grades 5-8 grade confirmation at St. John’s Lutheran Church is cancelled on Wednesday.

CCD classes for St. Elizabeth Ann Seton juniors and seniors will meet at 6:30 p.m. tonight at the church.

There will be an FBLA meeting Wednesday, during advisory in Ms. Lingbeck’s room.

All boys’ golfers should meet in Mr. Kjellsen's room on Thursday right after school for a very short meeting. Bring shirts and bags at that time.

FCCLAers - If you would like to help make and hang up locker signs.  Come to the FACS kitchen today during advisory.

FBLA is selling shirts.  There are order forms in the office.  Money is due when you turn in your order form.

Anyone interested in joining DI can stop in the office for a registration form.  They are due back in the office by October 17th.

Please return all over due books to the library!

Snow Queen Talent Contest entry forms may be picked up from Mr. Johnson.  Aspiring vocalists, instrumentalists, dancers, actors, magicians, and comedians are encouraged to sign up.  Applications must be turned in by Friday, October 17th.  The contest will be held on the evening of Sunday, November 2nd in the high school gym.

Good luck to the MathCounts team at Warner today.

Grades 9-12:   October 20th is Family Night.  From 5-7 pm many area colleges will be in the GHS gym for you to talk to.  Please come and talk to the representatives!  The following will be there:

10th Grade – HOBY essays due Oct. 17 to Mrs. Sternhagen.   Write about your leadership skills – what is the most rewarding and challenging aspect of being a leader in our school.  Tell about your leadership experiences.  Tell about yourself.  Why would you be a good candidate for HOBY?
