Our
school district has been selected to participate in a study conducted
by South Dakota State University. To participate, I would appreciate it
if you would please take a brief online survey that will ask you
questions about school wellness.

They must be washed and on a hanger.
Today is the Elementary Christmas Concert at 2:00 p.m.
The following School Board Policy will be will enforced for
students planning to attend the concert: Page 16 in the Student Handbook
- Students are not allowed to attend regular elementary school
activities which are held during the school day unless they are watching
a
sibling, they are accompanied by a parent, and are not on the
ineligibility list. All students meeting the aforementioned criteria and
who are planning on attending must have their parents notify the office
at least one day in advance.
(Due to the snow day yesterday parents are able to notify the office today).
Any violations will result in an unexcused
absence. This includes any K-12 classroom or co-curricular activity,
unless it is approved by the principal.
Grade 12: Monday, December 9th
at 7 p.m. is Groton's Financial Aid Information Night. Becky Pribyl,
a financial aid officer, will give the presentation on how to finance
your college education and options available through the FAFSA
(free application federal student aid).
This is how you get the best loans and the grants for college. Please
plan to attend along with your parents. Letters were mailed to your
parents yesterday inviting them to this very important presentation.

in helping with 3D Month activities – Drinking and Drugged Driving Prevention Month should stop by and see Mrs. Sternhagen.
