MS/HS Bulletin December 17



The lost and found pile in the office is growing.  Pink Gap fleece, red Columbia fleece, black Groton Tiger pull-over, black fleece, several single glove/mitten, Canon camera case and Canon lens cover, gray flannel belt for a coat, white stocking hat

 

Middle School--If you are still on the ineligible list you will report to Mrs. Kurtz's room this week, everyday from 3:30-4:00.  If you will be gone you must make arrangements beforehand with Mrs. Kurtz and Mrs. Schwan

 

There are baked goods for sale in the office from the Spanish fundraiser.  All items are 50 cents. 

 

Thursday and Friday students can change schedules.  Change sheets are available in the office or from Mrs. Sternhagen. 

 

Seniors that will be taking Student Internship, second semester, will meet on Wednesday during Advisory in the conference room.  Prior to the meeting, you must have contacted and gotten permission from the teacher that you plan to work with.  If you would like to work with a teacher in the elementary, stop in to see Mrs. Schwan.

 

Bonus points from (Parent/Teacher Conferences) will be handed out today in English class. 

 

Groton Transit Christmas Open House and Bake Sale on December 19 from 10:00 – 5:00 p.m.  Shop for your Christmas baked goodies, enjoy refreshments, treats, and register for door prizes.

 

The following students need to turn in their tour of homes ticket money as soon as possible: Truitt R, and Garrett S

 

The cheerleaders are selling Tiger Stocking Hats for $15, Tiger Headbands for $10 and Tiger Lanyards for $2.  They would make a great Christmas gift!  Stop in the office if you are interested.

 

The following students still owe Mrs. Honerman $10 for their play t-shirts. Skyler B, Jocelyn P, Marlee J,  Aaron S

 

Yearbooks are for sale.  The cost without a name is $45 and with a name is $47.  The price will go up after Christmas.

 

The following Volleyball players need to turn in the following items. Skyler B, uniform and warm up and  Tori B, warm up only

 

Good luck to the wrestlers at Oakes today.

 

Grades 11-12:  Any student interested in the National Guard or Reserves should see Mrs. Sternhagen.

 

Grade 9:  Reminder to bring your pathways sheets to Mrs. Sternhagen.  Detention starts second semester  – Jessica A, Brett B, Tate C, Nathan F, Kayla F, Dillon F, Joe G, Alexis H, Jazzmine H, Colton H, Wyatt K, McKenzie M, Nicklos M, Truitt R, Sarah S, Tage T

 

Grade 11 and 12:  ACT registration for the February 8 test is due online by January 10th   Register at www.actstudent.org   and pay with a credit card.  You can test in Aberdeen.  Be sure to list Groton as your home school.  Remember you must upload a photo to register and then print the admission ticket.  Fee waivers are available – stop by the GO.

 

Teachers:  Student of the Month forms for December are due today.
