The Region Championship will be on Tuesday against Sisseton at 7:00 p.m. in Britton.
If you eat breakfast in the lunchroom you need to stay in the lunchroom to eat.
Do not take trays of food out of the lunchroom.
Veteran’s Day breakfast is Monday at 7:30 a.m. at the Elementary.
The Veteran’s Day program will be a t 2:45 p.m. at the H.S. gym.

choir members, you have choreography beginning at 3:30 tomorrow after
school. You also have it Saturday morning beginning at 9am.
You will wear your choreography shirts on Saturday.

The Groton Youth Rally that will take place Nov. 13th at 7pm at the Groton Area High School Arena with Keeley Kaukimoce
who is a professional Christian hip hop dancer. Keeley has worked in countless videos and live performances with such artists as Justin Beiber, Janet Jackson, and Christina Aguilera. She speaks about how to confront fear and how to gain self
confidence when you feel you "don't belong." Tickets are $5 in advance at the Groton Dairy Queen or $5 at the door.

Parent-Teacher
Conferences are on November 14th from 1:30-8:30. You will receive 10
bonus points for quarter 2 if your parents speak with each of your
teachers. If you have an "A" in a class your parent would not need
to speak with that teacher, but is more than welcome! If your parents
are unable to attend, they should contact the teacher for discussion. If

Snow
Queen Talent Competition entry forms can be picked up from Mr.
Johnson. Forms are due today. Auditions will be Tuesday, November
12th immediately after school. The Snow Queen contest is on Sunday,
November 17th.
Football players turn in equipment.
There will be a Free Flu Shot Clinic on November 14, Parent/Teacher Conference night, at the elementary starting at 1:30 p.m.
Forms were handed out to grades 6 – 8.
Grades 9-12 can stop in the office to pick up a form.
Please return the consent form to the High School office by Friday, November 8.
There is only Oatmeal cookie dough left. It is $16 per box. See Mrs. Yeaton soon if you are interested.
Grades 11-12:
Students interested in registering for Presentation College courses for 2nd semester should register now. Those who register first will get to take the course.

Congratulations to Cheyenne S for being selected as one of the two State of South Dakota Winners in the 2013 Wendys High School Heisman Competition. Cheyenne now advances to the
National Competition where 12 seniors are chosen.
Good luck to Cheyenne as she advances in the competition.
Grade 12: NSU – free application month. November
is free app month at NSU.
You must submit a paper application, transcript, and ACT and be
accepted by the end of the month. The application materials must
be sent straight to NSU. Stop by the GO to get the application and get it filled out to give to the NSU rep when she visits Groton TODAY at 10:30.
Grade 12: Testing – ACT:
ACT registration for the December 14 test is due online by November 8. Register at www.actstudent.org
and pay with a credit card.
Grade 12:
Legislative Page: Serve as a page in the SD legislature for a
two week window starting in January. Great opportunity to learn about
the legislative process and to meet students from across SD. Must be
recommended by a legislator – due Nov. 8.
