MS/HS Bulletin November 18, 2013



MathCounts meets Tuesday morning, beginning at 7:45 a.m., in Mrs. Johnson's room #226.

 

*Reminder for the boys/girls basketball cheerleaders. There will be practice tonight in the old gym starting at 5:30pm.

Staff and Students:  Operation Cards and Care Packages is underway.  Please show your support to our soldiers overseas this holiday season by sending a card or goods/foods for care packages.  A display is set up in the library so check it out.  Cards and Care package items will be collected from now until Dec. 1.  Thanks!

 

There will be a girls’ basketball meeting Tuesday, November 19, after school in Mr. Wanner’s room.  Any girls in grades 9-12 that are interested should attend the meeting.

 

Volleyball players can start handing in all uniforms and warm ups today.  They must be washed and on a hanger. 

 

The community food drive will be on Tuesday, Nov. 19.  Everyone is welcome grades 9-12.  Meet in the old gym at 6:30.  There will be pizza and pop for everyone after!

 

There is only Oatmeal cookie dough left. It is $16 per box. See Mrs. Yeaton soon if you are interested.

 

Wrestling practice starts today.

 

Good luck to the FFA at the Region DCE in Watertown today.  You will be dismissed at 2:30 p.m.

 

Good luck to the JH Girls’ basketball team today at Webster.  Game starts at 4:00 p.m.  You will be dismissed at 2:45 p.m.

 

Grade 12:  Senior Scholarship packets will be handed out in English on Tuesday for those who were not able to come to conferences.   

 

Grades 11-12:  Students interested in registering for Presentation College courses for 2nd semester should register now.  Those who register first will get to take the course.   The email was sent to you on Friday with the links.    See Mrs. Sternhagen if you have questions. 

 

Grade 9:  Reminder to bring your pathways sheets to Mrs. Sternhagen

 

Grade 12:  NSU – free application month.  November is free app month at NSU.  

 

Grades 11-12:  The following college representatives will be in the School Counseling Office to visit with students.  Please make arrangements with your teachers.
