FCCLAers - Stop into the FACS room to pick up t-shirt order form.

 

Retake picture day is Tuesday, October 29.

 

There is extra frozen cookie dough from the show choir fundraiser. It comes in boxes of 48 pre-portioned cookies and it is $16 per box. See Mrs. Yeaton soon if you are interested. The following flavors are available: Peanut Butter Cup and Oatmeal

 

Anyone interested in Robotics (boy or girl) should sign up in the office or see Mr. Donley as soon as possible.

 

Not everyone received the most updated schedule for play rehearsals last week.  Please check your emails for changes and see Mrs. Honerman if you did not receive the schedule.

Grade 12:   Those who applied for the PEO Star Scholarship - Halle D, Caitlyn F, Joellen G, Darac H, Kylie H, Nikki K, Regan L, Madison P, Cheyenne S, Camille S – should see Mrs. Sternhagen and check your email.  The application for the scholarship is due to Mrs. Sternhagen by Monday, October 28

Grade 9:  Reminder to bring your pathways sheets to Mrs. Sternhagen

 

Grade 10:  Hoby 2014 – Hugh O’Brien Youth Leadership Seminar:  This was discussed in English 10 yesterday.  To apply, fill out 1 page essay and turn in to Mrs. Sternhagen by Friday, Nov. 1.   Stop by the School Counseling Office if you have questions.

 

Grade 12:

1.      Testing – ACT:  Reminder of what to do for the ACT on Saturday.  See Mrs. Sternhagen if you have questions.

2. Prudential Spirit of Community Awards:  If you have performed community service in the past year you may want to fill out this award/scholarship.  One student will be recognized from Groton and will go on to compete statewide and possibly nationally.  Go to http://spirit.prudential.com and click on “Apply Now”.  Once you have completed the application go to the “Certification” page and enter Mrs. Schwan’s name as the certifier – Anna.Schwan@k12.sd.us.  Then print out a copy of form and bring it to Mrs. Sternhagen.  Be sure and keep your login information because, if you are selected, we will have you login to complete certification.    The local deadline is October 25 – again you must be certified so please complete by the local deadline

 

Grades 11-12:  The following college representatives will be in the School Counseling Office to visit with students.  Please make arrangements with your teachers.
