MS/HS Bulletin October 22, 2013

FCCLAers - Stop into the FACS room to pick up t-shirt order form.

 

Retake picture day is Tuesday, October 29.

 

At the volleyball game against Northwestern tonight there will be a bake sale, silent auction and a raffle.  There will be pom poms and bandanas for sale.

 

There is extra frozen cookie dough from the show choir fundraiser. It comes in boxes of 48 pre-portioned cookies and it is $16 per box. See Mrs. Yeaton soon if you are interested. The following flavors are available: Peanut Butter Cup, Chocolate Chunk, Oatmeal, and Candy (like M&M).

 

Anyone interested in Robotics (boy or girl) should sign up in the office or see Mr. Donley as soon as possible.

 

Not everyone received the most updated schedule for play rehearsals last week. There is NO rehearsal this evening. Please check your emails for changes and see Mrs. Honerman if you did not receive the schedule.

 

The following students need to pay Mrs. Stauch, $5 for parents night:

Good luck to the volleyball team tonight against Northwestern.

7th grade and “C” team play at 5:00 p.m.

8th grade and JV at 6:30 p.m.

 

Congratulations to Cheyenne S who was selected by the faculty and the senior class as the 2013-2014 DAR representative.  This award is based on dependability, service, leadership, and patriotism in home, school, and community. 

 

Grade 9:  Reminder to bring your pathways sheets to Mrs. Sternhagen

 

Grades 11 and 12:  ASVAB Testing is Wednesday in the Conference Room by the library.  Report there at 8:30 for lunch count and attendance.  Testing will finish by 11:30.  See Mrs. Sternhagen if you have questions. 

 

Grade 12 Testing – ACT: 

1.      ACT testing is Saturday in Groton or Aberdeen.  Please check your email for details.  Bring photo id, Bring your admission ticket and a driver’s license (photo ID), 2 calculators, pencils with erasers, a watch, and possibly a water bottle.  Be sure and show up at the testing location at least 15 minutes early.  Testing should conclude around noon.  Those who are taking the writing assessment should be done by 12:45 p.m. 

  1. Prudential Spirit of Community Awards:  The local deadline is October 25 – again you must be certified so please complete by the local deadline

 

Grades 11-12:  The following college representatives will be in the School Counseling Office to visit with students.  Please make arrangements with your teachers.
