MS/HS Bulletin

St. Elizabeth Ann Seton CCD youth, Grades 11 and 12 will not have CCD classes in April.

FBLA meeting Wednesday, March 30th during advisory in Ms. Lingbeck's room.

Any junior high or high school girls interested in golf this spring should meet in Mr. Kjellsen's room right after school on Thursday.

If you would like to model your prom dress in the FCCLA Style Show on Thursday, April 28, please sign up in the FACS room or email Mrs. Tietz.

If you are interested in entertaining at the FCCLA Style Show by singing or playing piano, please contact Mrs. Tietz.

Lunch line order will switch today:  1st Lunch  7, 6, 8     2nd Lunch 9, 12, 11, 10

The sign-up for grand march, post prom and prom pictures is in the library.

Students planning to attend prom and post-prom will sign up in the library.  When the students sign up, they will also need to bring a $20 prom fee or $40 per couple fee.  This fee will be returned to all students who stay through the entire prom and post-prom party.  If there is a valid reason that a student is not able to stay for the post-prom, a parent must notify the school by Monday, April 11th.  If this prior notice is given, the fee will be reimbursed.

If you have a prom date from out of town, please stop by the library and pick up a form that will need to be filled out by your date and your dates principal.  Forms are due by April 11.

8th graders (who will be 9th graders next year): SD School of Mines and Technology will be hosting camps throughout the summer. Camp topics include: Wild Weather, Entrepreneurship Boot Camp, Build the Future, Mining and Explosives, Chemical and Biological Engineering Summer Institute, and Green Chemistry. Scholarships are available. For more information see Ms. Seeklander.

6-8 Graders AND Teachers!: NASA, LATI, and SDSU are sponsoring a two Summer Bridge program August 1-5, on the campus of SDSU. One program is Gallery of Echoes (Where art meets science) and the second program is Minecraft Camp (Serious gaming meets flight). Scholarships for students and teachers are available. See Ms. Seeklander for more information.

Students--Use the water fountains as they are, do not move or shift any components of the fountain.  You will be responsible for charges incurred from repair work.

7-8 track will start today right after school in the old gym

ICU during advisory will be held in Mrs. Honerman's room until further notice. 

If any group is interested in hosting a blood drive at the school for the United Blood Services on May 4th, please contact Fern Elofson at felofson@unitedbloodservices.org or at (701) 361-5028.

Students interested or in need of volunteer hours please contact Mr. Brett Schwan or Mrs. Kim Weber to help work at Family Math Night on Tuesday from 5:00-7:00. 

May 6 is the last day to purchase a yearbook.  $55 for a yearbook, $5 for personalization, and $3 for an icon.


The Jerome J. Lohr College of Engineering is once again host the Girls, Engineering, Math, & Science (GEMS) workshop for 8th grade girls on Saturday, April 2nd. This workshop will be held in Brookings, on the SDSU campus, and costs $25 if registered by March 25. After March 25 the cost goes to $35.
