MS/HS Bulletin March 3

Junior and seniors--there has been a change with the after-prom plans.  The National Guard cancelled their TAC Ball activity they were going to bring, so instead after-prom will be held at the YMCA.  

The Jerome J. Lohr College of Engineering is once again host the Girls, Engineering, Math, & Science (GEMS) workshop for 8^th grade girls on Saturday, April 2^nd. This workshop will be held in Brookings, on the SDSU campus, and costs $25 if registered by March 25. After March 25 the cost goes to $35. Girls’ basketball meeting in Mr. Wanner’s classroom today at 3:15 p.m.   Bring your uniform, warmups, and practice jerseys on a hanger.  If you want to turn your uniform in earlier take them to Mr. Wanner’s room. 

At the Boys’ Regions Basketball Tournament today no passes or activity tickets will we accepted.  Adults are $6 and students are $4.  Groton will play Roncalli in the second game, 20 minutes after the first game ends.  Sisseton vs Britton/Hecla play in the first game starting at 6:00 p.m. 

Theme for tonight’s game is Extreme Jungle.

Be sure to have all your belongings out of the JH boy’s locker room and the varsity girl’s locker room.  Other schools will be using those locker rooms for the Regions Boys’ Basketball Tournament.

The following cheerleaders need to pay Mrs. Morehouse for their cheer clinic t-shirts:

Grades 11-12  ACT:  Registration for the April 9, 2016 test is due online by March 4, 2016 .  Register at www.actstudent.org   and pay with a credit card.  You will test in Groton or Aberdeen but be sure to list Groton as your home school.  Remember you must upload a photo to register and then print the admission ticket.  Fee waivers are available – stop by the GO.  Other test dates are: June 11, Sept. and Oct.   ACT sign up help is available from Mrs. Sternhagen.
