MS/HS Bulletin March 17

A student is missing computer #46.  Please turn it in to the office if you find it. 

Today and tomorrow lunch will be served in the gym, not the kitchen, due to the construction.

May 6 is the last day to purchase a yearbook.  $55 for a yearbook, $5 for personalization, and $3 for an icon.

Baseball meeting today at 3:15 in the south conference room.  This is a mandatory meeting for those who are planning to play Jr. Teeners to Legion baseball this summer.  If you cannot attend the meeting contact Matt Locke at 216-2672.   Please wait for the office to dismiss you to go to the meeting.

The Jerome J. Lohr College of Engineering is once again host the Girls, Engineering, Math, & Science (GEMS) workshop for 8th grade girls on Saturday, April 2nd. This workshop will be held in Brookings, on the SDSU campus, and costs $25 if registered by March 25. After March 25 the cost goes to $35. Bulletin announcement for students on Testing 2016:
 
Students Grades 6-7-8- 11 will be taking the Smarter Balanced and DSTEP science test in the next few weeks.  Please make plans to be here during testing as it must be made up.   All students will need headsets – please bring these to school. 
All backpacks and cell phones must be put away during testing.  Cell phones can not be accessed during testing. 
 
Bring other work to do after you are finished testing.

ELA and Math:  Half the students will test in the morning and half will test in the afternoon.  Grades 6-8 will test periods 1-4 (will eat 2nd lunch) and periods 5-advisory.  Grade 11 will test periods 1-4 and 5-advisory.  The testing schedule will look like this:

Grades 11-12:  ASVAB Testing (military and careers) will possibly be offered on this Friday, March 18th in the morning to interested students.   Please let Mrs. Sternhagen know if you are interested in taking this test.
