MS/HS Bulletin January 8

Jostens will meet with sophomores and juniors in the old gym at 8:30 a.m. on Friday, January 15^th to talk about class rings.  The seniors meeting will follow to talk about graduation.  Tuesday, January 19, sophomores, juniors and seniors can place orders from 8:00 – 9:00 in the office meeting room. 
All overdue books need to be turned in or renewed as soon as possible.

Any student that is already registered or plans to register for a dual credit course must see Mrs. Sternhagen

The South Dakota 4-H is sponsoring a Quotes to Live By Contest for students in grades 4, 7, and 9. For more information see Ms. Seeklander.

There will be a show choir meeting during advisory on Friday.

The January FCCLA meeting will be on Tuesday, Jan. 12 during advisory.

We are missing computer # J1522.  If you see it please bring it to the office.

The deadline for dual credit registration is Monday, January 11th.  I need to have all applications by January 8th.

Yearbooks are for sale at the business office. 
$50.00 for the book.
$5.00 for personalization and
$3.00 for any icon they want added to their cover.
These sale prices will be good until the end of the 1st Semester (January 8th)
After January 8th - the prices of the book will go up.  New prices will be
$55.00 for the book
$ 5.00 for personalization
$ 3.00 for Icons

Table Talks will be on Wednesdays.

Grade 11:  SDSU Junior Day Saturday, January 23.  Sign up at www.sdstate.edu/juniorday  Great chance to explore the school and learn about academics and extracurriculars.
 
Grades 9-12:  See Mrs. Sternhagen today if you have any more Class changes

Grades 11-12  ACT:  Registration for the Feb. 6, 2016 test is due online by Jan. 8.  Register at www.actstudent.org   and pay with a credit card.  You will test in Aberdeen but be sure to list Groton as your home school.  Remember you must upload a photo to register and then print the admission ticket.  Fee waivers are available – stop by the GO.  Other test dates are: April 9 (Groton) and June 11.   ACT sign up help is available from Mrs. Sternhagen.
