Reminder-Year Book meeting during Advisory to meet the new Jostens Rep.

MathCounts meets Tuesday morning, beginning at 7:45 a.m.

The JH Boys B-ball games scheduled with Leola/Frederick at Groton today has been CANCELLED! 

Jostens will be back on Tuesday, January 19 from 8:00 – 9:00 for sophomores, juniors and seniors to place orders.  You will meet in the office meeting room. 

All overdue books need to be turned in or renewed as soon as possible. 

The South Dakota 4-H is sponsoring a Quotes to Live By Contest for students in grades 4, 7, and 9. For more information see Ms. Seeklander.

Junior Class Prom Committee will meet this Tuesday and Thursday in Mrs. Kurtz's room during advisory.  

Table Talks will be on Wednesdays.

February 2^nd there will be a spaghetti supper at the Groton vs Langford basketball game as a fundraiser for the Padfield family.   If you would like to help please contact Pastor Thomas at the Methodist Church.

Grade 11:  SDSU Junior Day Saturday, January 23.  Sign up at www.sdstate.edu/juniorday  Great chance to explore the school and learn about academics and extracurriculars.
 
Grade 11:  Youth Business Adventure:  Applications are due Jan. 26 to Mrs. Sternhagen.  YBA is a 1 week program held in June in which students learn about economic, management, and market-oriented issues.  It is a leadership experience in which all students (regardless of what career interest area) will benefit.  Cost is $250 but financial assistance is available if needed.  See Mrs. Sternhagen for the application.

Grades 11-12:  The following college representatives will be in the School Counseling Office to visit with students.  Please make arrangements with your teachers.
