On some lunch/breakfast menus is shows no school on January 22, that is an error. We do have school all day on January 22.

The deadline for dual credit registration is Monday, January 11th. I need to have all applications by January 8th.
Yearbooks are for sale at the business office.
$50.00 for the book.
$5.00 for personalization and
$3.00 for any icon they want added to their cover.
These sale prices will be good until the end of the 1st Semester (January 8th)
After January 8th - the prices of the book will go up. New prices will be

Table Talks will be on Wednesday.
Grades 10-12: Columbia University, New
York, student representative Jadrian Guy will be in Groton to talk about
the school on January 12 at 1 pm in the conference room. If you are
interested in Columbia University please stop by
and talk with him.
Grades 9-12: Class changes can be made on Wednesday and Thursday this week with Mrs. Sternhagen
Grade 11: Youth Business
Adventure: Mrs. Sternhagen will talk about this program next week on
Thursday during English 11. If you are interested in going you can see
Mrs. Sternhagen now or wait until next week.

Grades 11-12 ACT: Registration for the Feb. 6, 2016 test is due online by Jan. 8. Register at
www.actstudent.org
and pay with a credit card. You will test in Aberdeen but be sure to
list Groton as your home school. Remember you must upload a photo to
register and then print
the admission ticket. Fee waivers are available – stop by the GO.
Other test dates are: April 9 (Groton) and June 11. ACT sign up help
is available from Mrs. Sternhagen.
Grades 9-12 Students: When
making class changes please keep in mind the requirements for the South
Dakota Opportunity Scholarship – 4 math, 4 science, 2 CTE or language,
no final grade below
a C and B GPA average. 24 on ACT.
