MS/HS Bulletin December 14

All students who are registered for internship next semester are required to attend a meeting Wednesday December 16th, during advisory.  If you cannot attend the meeting for any circumstance you must notify Ms. Lingbeck.

MathCounts meets Tuesday morning, beginning at 7:45 a.m.

JH and HS Band, reminder you will be spot checked in band on Tuesday.  Take your instruments home. 

Students that are planning to attend the Elementary Christmas concert on Friday at 2:00 p.m. reminder of the School Board Policy.  Students are not allowed to attend regular school activities which are held during the school day unless they are watching a sibling, they are accompanied by a parent, and are not on the ineligibility list.  All students meeting the aforementioned criteria and who are planning on attending must have their parents notify the office at least one day in advance.  Any violations will result in an unexcused absence.  This includes any K-12 classroom or co-curricular activity, unless it is approved by the principal, all work must be completed prior to being excused. 

Sixth grade girls’ basketball team is having a T-shirt/sweatshirt fundraiser.  Order forms are in the office.  They are due Friday, December 18. 

Reminder FCCLAers that fruit, meat and cheese orders will be delivered today.  You must pick up your orders today!

Show Choir Bake Sale is Thursday, December 17 at 5:00 p.m.  The MS/HS Christmas Concert will start at 7:00 p.m.

The Student Council is sponsoring a "Holiday Drive."  They will be accepting donations of new items to be given to area organizations for the purpose of helping those in need.  Please visit the Christmas tree in the office for ideas of what to donate.    Items may be dropped off at the office thru Friday, December 18.  Thank you for your help!

Attention 6^th and 7^th grade boys and girls: The Aberdeen Babysitting Clinic is scheduled for December 29, 2015 from 12:30 pm – 4:00 pm. Students who participate in the NESD AHEC Babysitting Clinic will learn basic CPR for child and infant, basic First-Aid, and basic babysitting information.  The cost of the training is $55 per student. Call 229-8309 to pre-register (PRE-REGISTRATION is REQUIRED).

$3.00 for any icon they want added to their cover.
These sale prices will be good until the end of the 1st Semester (January 8th)
After January 8th - the prices of the book will go up.  New prices will be

Grade 10:  On Monday and Tuesday you will be taking an online assessment during English 10.  Please bring your computers to class on both days and make sure they are charged and updated.  Please see Mrs. Sternhagen if you have any questions. 

Grade 12:  Build Dakota Scholarships at SD technical schools:  Full tuition and fees.  Work in SD   http://www.builddakotascholarships.com/  Must apply, be accepted into eligible program, and fill out scholarship by Dec. deadline of senior year

Grade 11:  Practice ACT test interpretation will be held on Tuesday, December 15 during English 11.   FYI - Just received information that the PSAT scores will be delivered in January.
