Student Council, meet Dr. Schwan in the office conference room during advisory.

Please come right to the FACS room after 7th period, you do not need to check into your advisory. Attendance will be taken at the meeting.

The December FCCLA Meeting will be on Tuesday, Dec. 1 during advisory in the FACS room.
Table Talks on Tuesday. 

OST is selling Groton Area Tigers Apparel.  Order forms are on the counter in the office.  They are due December 3.

The winter sports parent-athletes meeting is Thursday, December 3 at 7:00 PM in the GHS Arena.  All student-athletes participating in a winter sport this year are required to be in attendance with a parent.

Yearbooks are for sale at the business office. 
$50.00 for the book.
$5.00 for personalization and
$3.00 for any icon they want added to their cover.
These sale prices will be good until the end of the 1st Semester (January 8th)
After January 8th - the prices of the book will go up.  New prices will be
$55.00 for the book
$ 5.00 for personalization
$ 3.00 for Icons

Grade 11:  Practice ACT test will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 2 in the conference room and room 120 for those who registered.  Testing will start at 8:30 and will end at 11:58.  Please go to the testing room for attendance and lunch count.  Bring pencils and a calculator.   The test interpretation will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 2 during English 11.  A list of where students will test was emailed to all students in grade 11.  Please see Mrs. Sternhagen if you have questions/concerns

Grade 12:  Financial Aid Information Night will be held on Monday, December 7th at 5:30 pm in the computer lab for seniors and their parents.  This is an extremely important meeting for anyone who needs money for college.  Becky Pribyl, financial aid officer at NSU, will present on the FAFSA – this is the government program which provides low interest loans and grants for students in college or technical school and is also how a student qualifies for workstudy.  Parental and student financial information is required on the FAFSA.  Please plan to come to the meeting.

Grade 12:  Build Dakota Scholarships at SD technical schools:  Full tuition and fees http://www.builddakotascholarships.com/  Apply, be accepted into eligible program, and fill out scholarship by Dec. deadline of senior year.  Please consider filling out the app!
