Students on ICU--you owe much work today.  Be prepared to come to school on Monday if you still have missing work!  ICU will be held this afternoon until 5:00; you've still got plenty of time.

Musicians, congratulations on a wonderful concert last night.  You have much to be proud of and put on an exceptional show last night that was enjoyed by all.  Great job!

Wrestling Cheerleaders will have practice on Saturday at 1:00 p.m.

Be sure to use your bonus points today.  Today is the last day of the 2nd quarter/1st Semester.

Juniors--Your lunch on Friday will be pizza, compliments of the Student Council in celebration of your win on Game Day this fall.  Meet in the arena lobby during your lunch period.  You can bring pop to this lunch.

Class change sheets can be picked up in the office or from Mrs. Sternhagen today.     

"Today, the junior class will be holding a fundraiser by having a hat day. Bring a dollar and give it to your first hour teacher you will be allowed to wear a hat for the day, proceeds will go to prom!"

Winter sports pictures will not be taken on Friday.  Once a new date is picked it will be announced. 

Year books for 2015 can be pre-purchased at the cost of $50.00 up until December 19th. (tomorrow)
After December 19th they will go up to $55.00
If you want your book personalized it is an extra $3.00

Good luck to the girls’ and boys’ basketball teams tonight against Deuel.  JV girls will be dismissed after they check in to their advisory class.

Grades 9-12:  Matthew Guthmiller – the youngest solo around-the-world pilot will be presenting to the Kiwanis on December 31 at noon.  The Kiwanis would like to invite the GHS student body to attend this informative and interesting presentation – Please see Mrs. Sternhagen if you are interested as a number count is required.

Grades 11-12  ACT:  Registration for the February 7 test is due online by January 9.   Register at www.actstudent.org   and pay with a credit card.  You will test in Aberdeen but be sure to list Groton as your home school.  Remember you must upload a photo to register and then print the admission ticket.  Fee waivers are available – stop by the GO.  Juniors please see Mrs. Sternhagen and read the email sent to you last week.   Test dates are:  February 7, April 18 and June 13.    ACT sign up help is available from Mrs. Sternhagen – come to the GO on Wednesday during advisory and bring your computers.
