Reminder that there are pictures at 3:00 for the following teams:
Wrestling
JV and Varsity – Boys’ and Girls’ Basketball
Cheerleaders – Boys’, Girls’ and Wrestling
Be sure to check in with your advisory teacher before you go to the arena!
Students--Taking pictures in school is
strictly prohibited and pictures taken in the bathroom and/or locker
rooms will be considered a police matter. Again, if you cannot manage
your cell phones appropriately during the day,
privileges will be suspended.
Anyone interested in being a student manager for the boys basketball team, contact Mr. Kjellsen.
Tickets
for “Honk!” are available in advance from Mrs. Stauch, Lori’s Pharmacy,
or Olde Bank. Student tickets are $4 and adult tickets are $7. Tickets
will
also be available at the door. Performance is Sunday, December 14 at
3:30 pm. Come support your friends and their talents in a musical all
about the ugly duckling and his search for happiness!
Year books for 2015 can be pre-purchased at the cost of $50.00 up until December 19th. (Next Friday)
After December 19th they will go up to $55.00
If you want your book personalized it is an extra $3.00

Grades 11-12:
Reminder of things to do for the ACT Test on Saturday, December 13th
in Aberdeen, Ipswich or Redfield. Bring your admission ticket and a
driver’s license (photo ID),
2 calculators, pencils with erasers, a watch, and possibly a water
bottle. Be sure and show up at the testing location at least 15 minutes
early. It might be a good idea to review last minute formulas and
rules. No caps are to be worn during testing. No
beverage will be allowed in the testing area. No cell phones are to be
used at any time during test (including the break). Testing should
conclude around noon. Those who are taking the writing assessment
should be done by 12:45 p.m. Be sure and do the practice
test prior to the test. Stop by the GO if you need an extra copy.
Grades 11-12 ACT:
Registration for the February 7 test is due online by January 9. Register at
www.actstudent.org and pay with a
credit card. You will test in Aberdeen but be sure to list Groton as
your home school. Remember you must upload a photo to register and then
print the admission ticket. Fee waivers are
available – stop by the GO. Juniors please see Mrs. Sternhagen and
read the email sent to you last week. Test dates are: February 7,
April 18 and June 13. ACT sign up help is available from Mrs.
Sternhagen – come to the GO on Wednesday during advisory
and bring your computers.
Grade 12: SD
