Sand Lake National Wildlife Refuge is having Blue Goose Day on Sunday, October 6 from 1:00 to 4:30 p.m.
A bald Eagle will be released at 1:30 p.m. There is a poster with more information outside the office.

you have an idea for a business, you should submit that idea and win
some money! The deadline for the Big Idea competition is October
31st. 1st place prize is $1000 and a $1000 scholarship to Northern or
Presentation. See Mrs. Schwan for details.
Sioux Valley will be having a meal before the football game on Friday from 5:30 – 6:30 p.m.
Home smoked and pulled pork sandwiches served with BBQ sauce, baked beans, potato chips and Powerade with cookies and bars for $6.

Form requires a recommendation and parent signatures so fill out

will attend Post High Planning Days on Thursday, October 3 from 8:30 – 12:00.

Testing – ACT:
ACT registration for the October 26 test is due online by September 27. Register at www.actstudent.org
and pay with a credit card. You can test in Aberdeen or Groton. Be
sure to list Groton as your home school. Remember you must upload a
photo to register and then print the admission ticket. Fee waivers are
available – stop by the GO.
2. Wendys
High School Heisman – seniors can apply – based on academics, athletics, leadership. First 25,000 to complete the application get a $10 Wendys gift card.
