MS/HS Bulletin April 27

FCCLA Style Show tonight in the gym at 7:00 p.m.

The JH Track Meet scheduled for today has been cancelled.

Britton-Hecla Student Council is sponsoring a Bean Bag Tournament on Saturday, May 13 for grades 7-12.  For more information see the flyer outside the office door.  Teams must be registered by May 5. 

FBLA meeting Thursday, May 4th during lunch in Ms. Lingbeck's room.  Bring your own lunch!

DI is serving Pork Loin meals before the Elementary Spring Concert on Tuesday May 2nd and prior to the MS/HS Spring Concert on Thursday May 4th.   Pork loins can be pre-ordered and are available for ordering at this time.  Order forms are in the office.

The United Methodist Women are having a Salad Luncheon on May 3rd from 11:00 - 1:00 at the United Methodist Church. The cost is $8 per plate this includes a dessert. Feel free to fill a to-go plate or eat at the church.

Congratulations to the 6-12 Students of the Month:  Grades 9-12 will go to the Dairy Queen on Wednesday, May 3 at 2:30 and Grades 6-8 will go to the Dairy Queen on Tuesday, May 16 at 2:30.

Congratulations to the members of the Class of 2017 who earned the Principal's Honor Roll Award at Groton Area High School.   To be eligible for this award, the seniors had to be on the honor roll at Groton Area High School every quarter for four years. They are:  Paityn Bonn, Nathan Fjelstad, Patrick Gengerke, Kate Helmer, Landon Marzahn, Keri Pappas, and Erin Smith.  These students will have Jungle pizza for lunch on Thursday, May 11 in the arena lobby. 
 
Congratulations to the 8^th graders who earned the Principal's Middle School Honor Roll Award.  To be eligible for this award, the eighth graders had to be on the honor roll at Groton Area Middle School every quarter for two years.  They are:  Paxton Bonn, Kaden Carda, Tiara DeHoet, Tessa Erdmann, Alyssa Fordham, Braden Freeman, Jasmine Gengerke, Trey Gengerke, Brooklyn Gilbert, Alexis Hanten, Alexa Herr, Chandler Larson, Tanae Lipp, Dragr Monson, Hailey Monson, Alex Morris, Sage Mortenson, Samantha Pappas, Steven Paulson, Kale Pharis, Lucas Simon, Isaac Smith, Erin Unzen, Grace Wambach, Grace Wiedrick.  These students will have Jungle pizza for lunch on Tuesday, May 16 in the arena lobby.

 Grades 11-12  ACT:  Registration for the June 10 test is due online by May 5, 2017 .  Register at www.actstudent.org   and pay with a credit card.  You will test in Aberdeen or Groton but be sure to list Groton as your home school.  Remember you must upload a photo to register and then print the admission ticket.  Fee waivers are available – stop by the GO.  Other test dates are: Sept.
