MS/HS Bulletin February 16

Seniors, you must meet with Dr. Schwan on Wednesday at 3:15 in the music room.  The meeting is regarding senior privileges and your presence is mandatory; attendance will be taken.  If you will not be in school on Wednesday you must meet with me at 8:15 Thursday morning in the library conference room.

Student Council will visit advisory on Tuesday and Wednesday to deliver Data-match results.  Results are $2, exact amount only.

State MathCounts meets Thursday, February 18, beginning at 7:45 a.m.

JV and Varsity Boys' basketball players, basketball cheerleaders and stats need stop in the office to pay $5 and write down how you want your parents’ names announced at Parents Night. 
Parents Night for Boys' is Friday, February 19.

3M will be sponsoring activities for the 8th grade class as part of their Engineering Week.  Representatives from the corporation will be in the building on February 24th beginning at 12:30 pm.  Students with last names Barse-Kyar will report to the library conference room from 12:30-2:00, and students with last names Marzahn-Williams will report to the library conference room from 2:00-3:30.

Dual credit summer applications are now available.  See Dr. Schwan if you are interested.

Seniors remember to turn in 5 senior pictures to Mrs. Hanten.  Early senior privileges will start on March 2nd.  No pictures no privileges.

All overdue books need to be turned in or renewed as soon as possible.

Grade 12:  In order to be eligible for the best financial aid package you must meet your school’s financial aid priority filing dates.   Most SD schools have a priority date of March 1 but some schools (U of  M for example) may have earlier deadlines.   Be sure and go to www.fafsa.gov  
 
Age 16 or older job:  Golden Living Center is looking to hire a part time dietary aide:  4:30 – 7:30 pm weekdays and weekend shifts.  Work in dining room during and after meals.  Apply online http://www.goldenliving.jobs/
