There will not be afternoon ICU tomorrow (Thursday). If you are on
the ICU list expect to be contacted today or tomorrow to schedule your
work time on Friday during teacher in-service.
Students: the handbook states, "Caps (including stocking caps),
bandanas, chains, and hats are not appropriate and are not to be worn in
the school building during the day." This policy includes boys and
girls. Removing your cap is a sign of respect, and
should be done as you enter the school building in the morning. Leave
your caps in your locker; they should not be worn between classes,
during lunch, and in classrooms.
JV and Varsity Girls' and Boys' basketball players, basketball
cheerleaders and stats need stop in the office to pay $5 and write down
how you want your parents’ names announced at Parents Night.
Parents Night for Girls' is Saturday, February 13.
Parents Night for Boys' is Friday, February 19.
Please remind your parents that Thursday are Parent/Teacher Conferences from 1:30 – 8:30 p.m.
Teachers will post grades on Wednesday for conferences.
Your parents will not need to visit with the teachers whose class you have an “A”in.
All seniors, meet with me on Wednesday, February 17th at 3:15
regarding senior privileges. The meeting will be held in the music
room. Attendance will be taken; if you will be absent it is your
responsibility to see me on the 18th or the 19th. Thank you, Dr.

State MathCounts practice Thursday mornings, beginning at 7:45 a.m.
Lollipops can be purchased at MS lunch or in Mrs. Tietz’s classroom.
They will be passed out Thursday, Feb. 11 during 7th period. They will
be $1.00 for those you want to send to a friend and $2.00 if you want
to send anonymously.
3M will be sponsoring activities for the 8th grade class as part of
their Engineering Week. Representatives from the corporation will be in
the building on February 24th beginning at 12:30 pm. Students with
last names Barse-Kyar will report to the library
conference room from 12:30-2:00, and students with last names
Marzahn-Williams will report to the library conference room from
2:00-3:30.

Seniors remember to turn in 5 senior pictures to Mrs. Hanten. Early senior privileges will start on March 2nd. No pictures no privileges.

Grades 10-11 Preparing for the Future Presentation - Thursday, February 11, 2016 from 6:30 – 7:30 pm
in the high school computer lab (during conferences). All sophomores
and juniors and parents are invited to listen to a presentation about
preparing for the future. This is a good chance to get a “heads up” on
the scholarship process, college apps, and general information. Hope
