Teachers, please excuse the following FB players next week when they

allowed at anytime anywhere. If one more incident occurs, cell phone
privileges in school will be revoked.

If your class dues are not paid by Friday, September 25 at 8:30 a.m. you will not be able participate in float building.

The all school play this year is a murder mystery thriller called “The Mousetrap” by Agatha Christie. Auditions will be
today at
3:45 in Mrs. Honerman’s classroom. Please attend if you are interested
in being on stage or helping backstage. If you are unable to make
auditions, please let Mrs. Honerman know BEFORE
the audition day so she can set up another time for you to audition or
get tech information. No experience necessary!
Groton FBLA K5 Color Run/Walk is October 3, 2015. Registration forms are in the office.

Grades 11-12: US Senate Youth Competition and Scholarship competition:
Opportunity to win a free trip to Washington, DC for two SD students.
GHS will select two students to take the test and send the results to
the state. Only students
who hold an elected or appointed office in student government, civic or
educational organizations can apply. Test covers government and
history. Stop by the GO if you are interested. Deadline Friday,

Grades 9-12 Scrubs Camp – October 12, 2015 at Presentation College
(deadline Sept. 25 but may fill sooner) or October 7th
at Hurton. Learn about health care careers including psychologist,
EMT/fire rescue, medical assisting, chiropractor, pharmacy, physical
therapy and wound care. Huron Careers
are behavioral health, EMT / fire rescue, medical assisting, biomed,
physical therapy, surgery technician, and medical coding. http://scrubscamps.sd.gov/camp-locator/. Application requires a recommendation
from a teacher or counselor and a parent signature.
Grades 12 ACT: Registration for the October 24 test is due online by Sept. 18.

and pay with a credit card. You will test in Aberdeen or Groton but be
sure to list Groton as your home school. Remember you must upload a
photo to register and
then print the admission ticket. Fee waivers are available – stop by
the GO. Test dates are: October 24 and December 12. ACT sign up help
is available from Mrs. Sternhagen.
