MS/HS Bulletin April 27

Student Bulletin

Congratulations to Taylor G for winning the Students Choice award on Thursday for her colored pencil drawing "Forte" and winning the students choice award on Friday for her charcoal drawing "Why Me" at the Annual All Dakota High School Fine Arts Exhibition at the Granary.

All football players going to the Valley City Team Camp give your registration form to Mr. Wanner this week.

In addition to individual honors, congratulations are also extended to all the Groton math students who participated in the 62nd Annual NSU Mathematics Contest.  As a school, Groton tied for third place with Milbank in the AA/A division.  438 students from 25 schools in three states (North and South Dakota and Minnesota) participated in the event.  To determine school rank, the highest score on each of the four tests was taken to compute each school's result.

Students planning to watch the Groton Track Meet on Tuesday, April 28 are reminded of School Board Policy:  Students wishing to attend 6-12 extra-curricular activities during the school day must have a parent notify the office 1 day in advance.  All work must be completed prior to being excused.  NO EXCEPTIONS!
