Grade 9:  On Friday during English we registered for two tests that you can take during your sophomore year - The PLAN test (practice ACT) and The PSAT test (scholarship competition during junior year).   All sophomores considering attending a 4 year school should take the PLAN.  All sophomores with A or B grade point averages who like a challenge should consider taking the PSAT as a practice for the scholarship competition the junior year.   If you still need to sign up or want to change your registration, please see Mrs. Sternhagen.  Please remember that if you sign up, I will order a test for you and you will need to pay for the test next fall.

Grade 10:   On Friday during English we registered for two tests that you can take during your junior year - The ASVAB test (military required) and The PSAT test (scholarship competition during junior year).   All juniors and seniors considering the military should take the ASVAB and any other interested student can take this test - it is free.   All juniors with A or B grade point averages who like a challenge should consider taking the PSAT for the junior National Merit Scholarship corporation competition which provides great scholarships if you score highly.  The PSAT is also just a good test to take as it is a timed nationally normed test.   If you still need to sign up or want to change your registration, please see Mrs. Sternhagen.  Please remember that if you sign up, I will order a PSAT test for you and you will need to pay for the test next fall.
