9:35-11:05 “The Wall” grades 9-10 (GHS Arena) **Parents are invited

11:05-11:30 MS Lunch as usual (Small group listed above will eat from 11:05-11:45)

11:58-12:23 HS Lunch as usual

12:23 5th period attendance, dismiss grades 11-12 to the arena

12:30-2:00 “The Wall” grades 11-12 (GHS Arena)

2:00-3:02 HS Small group listed above (Library Conference Room)

3:06-3:30 Advisory as usual

  *Seniors - Senior shirt orders are due by Friday, Nov. 7.  Please turn in to Meri Erickson. 

The November FCCLA will be on Thursday during advisory!

November is National Career Month. Check out the bulletin board across from Mrs. Kurtz’s room. Do you know what 6-12th grade staff member fits the description? Put your answers on the provided sheet and put the sheet in the completed envelope. A winner will be selected each week.

The following students must return their computer forms or pay $25 insurance (depending on what you need to turn in) to the office by Thursday or you will serve 1 hour detention:  Amber D, MacKenzie P, Spencer J, Clayton K, Wyatt L, Brandyn A, Marshall L, Hunter M, Whitney V, Paige P

Honk cast and crew: due to the change in performance dates for the show to December 9 and 14, there is a new play rehearsal schedule. They will be available from Mrs. Honerman today during advisory – PLEASE STOP AND GET ONE! Rehearsal this Thursday will be at 7:00 AM instead of 6:30 pm due to volleyball regions – let Mrs. Honerman or Mr. Swanson know if you are unable to attend ASAP!

Prom Committee will meet Thursday during Advisory.

NSU is having a Cheer Camp on December 6.  There is information on the bulletin board outside the office.

7th and 8th grade volleyball players: Please return your WASHED uniforms to Miss Erickson as soon as possible!

Please return all over due books to the library!

Volunteers needed to help with the PAC Girls 4-6th grade basketball tournament this Saturday, November 8th from 8-4.  They are looking for volunteers as concession workers, referees, score keepers, and clock timers.  Please email Robyn Warrington [birdie_ann79@yahoo.com] or go the to Groton PAC facebook page and sign up there.    

Grade 12:  Seniors will be taking the NCRC on Wednesday, November 5th either in the morning or afternoon in the conference room – please check the list that was emailed to you if you have questions.  Bring your computer (make sure it is charged), a calculator, and some material to work on if you have extra time. Lunch count and attendance will be taken in the testing room.

Grade 9:  Please return your pathways sheets to Mrs. Sternhagen

Grades 11-12  ACT:  Registration for the December 13 test is due online by November 7.   Register atwww.actstudent.org   and pay with a credit card.  You will test in Aberdeen but be sure to list Groton as your home school.  Remember you must upload a photo to register and then print the admission ticket.  Fee waivers are available – stop by the GO.  Juniors please see Mrs. Sternhagen and read the email sent to you this week.   Test dates are:  December 13, February 7, April 18 and June 13.

Grades 11-12:  The following college representatives will be in the School Counseling Office to visit with students.  Please make arrangements with your teachers.
