MS/HS Bulletin November 24

**Middle School students on the ineligibility list will no longer be required to stay until 4:00 UNLESS you are on the ICU list.  In that case you will follow the normal ICU protocol.  Be prepared, if you are on the list you will stay!

Congratulations to the GT Robotics students.  Three teams placed first, second, and third in Harrisburg on Saturday. 
MathCounts meets Tuesday morning, beginning at 7:45 a.m., in Mrs. Johnson's room #226.

All students in grades 9-12 that will be participating in basketball, wrestling or cheerleading you and your parent must attend the mandatory winter athletics meeting today at 7:00 p.m. in the arena.

FBLA will be hosting a Frozen Semi-Formal, December 5th, for grades 9-12.  The formal will be in the Old Gym and from 9PM-12AM.  Couples $15, $10 for a single, and $20 for yourself and an out of town date.  Hope to see all of you there!

Football players need to turn in all equipment today or tomorrow.  You can turn them in during advisory.

Year books for 2015 can be pre-purchased at the cost of $50.00 up until December 19th.
After December 19th they will go up to $55.00
If you want your book personalized it is an extra $3.00

Basketball Under Armour Fleece Hoodies order forms are in the office.  There is a sample in the office.  Payment and order form are due December 1.

November is National Career Month. Check out the bulletin board across from Mrs. Kurtz’s room. Do you know what 6-12th grade staff member fits the description? Put your answers on the provided sheet and put the sheet in the completed envelope. A winner will be selected each week. A new set of staff have been put up on the bulletin board by Mrs. Kurtz’s room. Thank you!

NSU is having a Cheer Camp on December 6.  There is information on the bulletin board outside the office.

Please return all over due books to the library!

Grade 12:  Anyone interested in having Internship as a class second semester please see Mrs. Sternhagen right away. 

Grade 12:  Financial Aid Information night will be held on Monday, December 8th at 5:30 pm in the computer lab (please note the time change – originally was at 7 pm).

Grades 6-7:  Babysitting clinic in Aberdeen – learn child/infant CPR on Dec. 29th from 8-11 am.  Cost is $55 and there is limited enrollment.  Call 229-8309 to pre-register.  See Mrs. Sternhagen for more information.

Grade 12:  If you did not attend the Scholarship Presentation, scholarship packets were passed out on Friday during English.  Please see Mrs. Sternhagen to get your packet.

Grades 11-12:  The following college representatives will be in the School Counseling Office to visit with students.  Please make arrangements with your teachers.

Grade 11:  ACT practice test will be held on Wednesday, December 3 from 8:30 – 11:55.
