MS/HS Bulletin September 17

The Student Council has decided not to hold a homecoming dance this year.

CCD classes for St. Elizabeth Ann Seton sixth and seventh graders are today at 3:45 p.m.  Grades eight, nine and ten will meet at 6:30 and the juniors and seniors will meet at 7 p.m. tonight. 

Class meetings will be on Thursday during advisory to choose themes.  Call the office with the top two choices.  By the end of the day on Thursday each class should submit a 1st choice and a 2nd choice decade.  We'll give preference to order received.  Advisors complete the parade form on the share drive. 

Order forms for “Volley for the Cure” t-shirts are on the counter in the office.  They are due Friday. 

 Grades 11-12:  US Senate Youth Competition and Scholarship competition:  Opportunity to win a free trip to Washington, DC for two SD students.  GHS will select two students to take the test and send the results to the state.   Only students who hold an elected or appointed office in student government, civic or educational organizations can apply.  Test covers government and history.  Stop by the GO if you are interested.  Deadline Friday, Sept. 19

The following must pay $14 for the PSAT test on October 15

Grade 12:  ACT:  ACT registration for the October 25 test is due online by September 19.   Register at www.actstudent.org   and pay with a credit card. 

Grades 11-12:  The following college representatives will be in the School Counseling Office to visit with students.  Please make arrangements with your teachers.
