MS/HS Bulletin March 30

Student Bulletin

The April FCCLA meeting will be on Tuesday, March 31 during advisory.  Check in with your advisory teacher before you go to the meeting. 

All who participated in the painting party will take a group picture on Tuesday following the FCCLA meeting. Be sure to bring your painting.  This includes: Hannah W, Katie L, Haley U, Kennedy C, Madison S, Alyssa S, Kasey W, Audrey W, Kellyn F, Jazzmine H, Latasha M, Tage T, Erika H, Alexis H, Lexie H, Jessie B, and Alex S.

Current and new members of National Honor Society will practice today at 2:55 in room 210.  Please be there.  Thank you.

ICU will be in Mrs. Honerman’s room until further notice.

Student Council meeting Monday (today) during advisory in the office conference room.

SENIORS:  We will be taking a senior class picture on Tuesday, March 31 - beginning of 2nd hour.  You will be dismissed by intercom to the arena.  If you have senior privileges that hour - you need to come for the picture before you leave.  Wear your black senior shirts.  If you did not order one, just wear a black shirt or GT shirt.  Thank you.

Those boys interested in Boys' State should go to the Legion on Monday, March 30th at 6:30: Adam H, Dustin D, Brody S, Chris Z, Hayden A, Brady G, and Kyle M.

3rd Annual DI Race to Globals 5K Walk/Run/Bike or Relays will be Saturday April 18.  Deadline for t-shirt guarantee is April 2.  There are registration sheets in the office. 

Testing 2015:  Grades 7, 8, and 11
Please make plans to be here during testing as it must be made up.   All students will need headsets – please bring these to school.    Bring other work to do after you are finished testing

All backpacks and cell phones must be put away during testing.  Cell phones can not be accessed during testing.

Testing groups are posted outside the conference room/computer lab and Mrs. Sternhagen’s room.     

DSTEP science testing grades 8 and 11 will take place during science class. 

Smarter Balanced Testing - Half the students will test in the morning and half will test in the afternoon.  Grade 7 will test periods 1-4 (will eat 2nd lunch)  and periods 5-advisory.  Grade 11 will test periods 1-4 and 5-advisory.

The Smarter Balanced testing schedule will look like this:
