Reminder that height and weight screening are tomorrow starting at 8:30 a.m.  We will start with 7^th grade.

7^th – height, weight, vision, hearing

6^th – height, weight, scoliosis

8^th – height, weight

9^th – height, weight, vision

10 – height, weight

11^th height, weight, hearing (?)

12 – height, weight

 

There is no 5-6 football practice tonight.

 

Junior class t-shirt orders are due on Thursday.  Order forms are on the counter in the office.

 

Students are not allowed to park on the north end of the arena or anywhere on the west side of the building, (including streets) on Friday.  These areas are reserved for guest school bus parking. 

 

There are still some Homecoming t-shirts for sale for $14.  See Mr. Franken if you would like one.

 

Students going on the Spain Trip need to attend a meeting with at least one parent on Wednesday, October 9th at 5pm in Mrs. Kippley's room.

Good luck to the 7^th grade football team at Redfield/Doland today. 

 

 Congratulations to the boys and girls soccer teams for their playoff wins!  The girls beat Tea Area 3-1 and the boys team beat Sioux Falls O’Gorman 2-1 in a shootout!  The SD High School Soccer Tournament will be played on Thursday and Friday in Aberdeen with the boys opening play at 1:00 vs. Aberdeen Central and the girls play Sioux Falls O’Gorman at 7:00.

 

Grades 11-12:  The following college representatives will be in the School Counseling Office to visit with students.  Please make arrangements with your teachers.

Grade 10:  If you are taking both the PLAN and the PSAT, you can bring one check for the total of $26.95 ($12.95 for PLAN + $14 for PSAT) made payable to GHS.
