MS/HS Bulletin May 2

Elementary Spring Concert at 7:00 p.m. tonight.

There is a sign-up sheet in the office for Dance Team Try-outs for the 17-18 school year.

All girls’ grades 8-11 planning to play basketball next year, there will be a short meeting on Thursday right after school in Mr. Wanner’s classroom.

All library books are due on or before May 12!

ICU will be in Mrs. Honerman’s classroom today (Tues.).

Girls interested in fall soccer contact Corey Harder.  You can get his contact information in the office.

If anyone is having senior pictures done at Hardin's Photography, please see Dr. Schwan for a gift certificate.

Britton-Hecla Student Council is sponsoring a Bean Bag Tournament on Saturday, May 13 for grades 7-12.  For more information see the flyer outside the office door.  Teams must be registered by May 5. 

FBLA meeting Thursday, May 4th during lunch in Ms. Lingbeck's room.  Bring your own lunch!

DI is serving Pork Loin meals before the Elementary Spring Concert on Tuesday May 2nd and prior to the MS/HS Spring Concert on Thursday May 4th.   Pork loins can be pre-ordered and are available for ordering at this time.  Order forms are in the office.

The United Methodist Women are having a Salad Luncheon on May 3rd from 11:00 - 1:00 at the United Methodist Church. The cost is $8 per plate this includes a dessert. Feel free to fill a to-go plate or eat at the church.

Last chance to order your High School yearbook.  Cost is $55.00.  Please see Mrs. Morehouse to order or go to the Grotonarea.com and use the ordering icon to order your book on line.

Congratulations to the American Legion Citizenship Award Winners Keri Pappas and Landon Marzahn.  One senior boy and one girl are chosen. on the basis of honor, courage, scholarship, leadership, and service.

Grades 11-12  ACT:  Registration for the June 10 test is due online by May 5, 2017 .  Register at www.actstudent.org   and pay with a credit card.  You will test in Aberdeen or Groton but be sure to list Groton as your home school.  Remember you must upload a photo to register and then print the admission ticket.  Fee waivers are available – stop by the GO.  Other test dates are: Sept. Oct. and Dec.   See Mrs. Sternhagen if you have questions.
