MS/HS Bulletin May 10

Students--if your shorts are too short or other clothing inappropriate you will be sent to the office to change or you will go home to change your clothes.  If you are unsure if they are too short, stop down and I will be happy to assist you.

13-14 junior teeners and Jr. Legion please meet in the library for a quick meeting at 3:30 on Wednesday, May 10.

There will be a lifeguard meeting on Wednesday, May 10 @ 5:30 in the Library.

Students who plan to attend Table Talks on Wednesday you must be in your session by 1:00, no exceptions.  You will not be able to enter late and disrupt the speaker.

Seniors should be checking with Mrs. Morehouse to see if they have any fines or fees that are due.

There will be a short football meeting on Wednesday after school in Mr. Wanner’s classroom for boys’ in grades 8-11.

Seniors who will need their graduation robes for Mass on May 14th must have them checked out and in Dr. Schwan's office by the end of the day on May 11th.

6th, 7th and 8th Thursday, May 11
9th and start 10th – Monday, May 15
finish 10th and 11th – Tuesday, May 16

All library books are due on or before May 12!

If anyone is having senior pictures done at Hardin's Photography, please see Dr. Schwan for a gift certificate.

Britton-Hecla Student Council is sponsoring a Bean Bag Tournament on Saturday, May 13 for grades 7-12.  For more information see the flyer outside the office door.  Teams must be registered by May 5. 

Last day to order your High School yearbook will be Monday, May 15.  Cost is $55.00.  Please see Mrs. Morehouse to order or go to the Grotonarea.com and use the ordering icon to order your book on line.

Good luck to the HS Track Team today at Britton.  Dismissal time is 11:30.

Congratulations to the members of the Class of 2017 who earned the Principal's Honor Roll Award at Groton Area High School.   To be eligible for this award, the seniors had to be on the honor roll at Groton Area High School every quarter for four years. They are:  Paityn Bonn, Nathan Fjelstad, Patrick Gengerke, Kate Helmer, Landon Marzahn, Keri Pappas, and Erin Smith.  These students will have Jungle pizza for lunch on Thursday, May 11 in the arena lobby.
